Airline & Commercial Pilot Programme

This course provides the most comprehensive qualifications by combining the CPL with a full Multi-engine Aeroplane Endorsement and Instrument Rating (MEAIR). Current CPL holders can also apply for the MEAIR and will receive recognition for prior learning to upgrade or convert their current pilot qualifications.

The MEAIR allows pilots to fly multi-engine aircraft in full Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) at all phases of the flight, both during the day and at night in any operation permitted by the grade of pilot’s licence held.

Indian DGCA Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot Programme

This course is specially designed to prepare pilots for employment in India region. The course includes the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and DGCA Airline/Multi-engine endorsement training.

The Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is the licence you need to work as a pilot. Training for this licence includes basic training (similar to recreational and private licence training), plus more complex training to ensure that you are able to safely handle a broad range of situations. The CPL also includes additional theory knowledge and advanced flying hours.

The course integrates multi-engine training hours to meet the requirements set down by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India.

Current PPL or CPL holders can also apply for this course and will receive recognition for prior learning to upgrade or convert their current pilot qualifications.

We offer the approved Indian DGCA CPL Airline/Multi programme in Gold Coast (Australia) and Hamilton (New Zealand).

Bachelor of Aviation with Commercial Pilot Licence

This course is delivered by Australia’s most highly recognised aviation teaching institution, Griffith University, and is open to international students. The course offers a strong academic underpinning to the commercial pilot career through a formal university bachelor degree programme. Students can undertake their flying training either during the bachelor degree in their free time or full time after graduating.

This programme is particularly useful if you are interested in working in an airline that requires a bachelor degree.

Flight Instructor Rating Course (FIR)

The Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) course is the qualification is required for those wishing to seek work as a flying instructor.

Becoming a Flight Instructor not only opens the door to a busy professional lifestyle, it also helps you work as a Commercial Pilot, building up the valuable hours required by industry recruiters. Along the way you’ll also continue to develop your professional attitude and experience greater levels of responsibility.

Multi-engine Instrument Rating (MEAIR)

Multi-engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating (MEAIR) allows pilots to fly multi-engine aircraft in full Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) at all phases of the flight, both during the day and at night in any operation permitted by the grade of pilot’s licence held. It combines two formal qualifications:

  • Multi-Engine (Aeroplane) Endorsement (ME-A) and
  • Instrument Rating (IR)

This qualification is usually taken packaged with the Commercial Pilot Licence  course under our Airline & Commercial Pilot Programme  or Indian DGCA Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot Programme but is available in the Gold Coast (Australia) as a separate formal Diploma of Aviation (MEAIR) for current CPL holders. For foreign CPL holders, we provide an additional licence conversion programme.

Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)

Recreational & Private Pilot Licence (RPL / PPL)

This programme provides flexible learning options for basic flight training toward the Australian Recreational and Private Pilot Licences. You can start any time and study part or full time.

International Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
