Bachelor of Aviation Management

This course will help you advance your career in aviation management and thrive in the constantly changing aviation environment.

You will study courses that directly relate to job functions in the aviation industry. You can study the second and third year courses online. In your final year, you will have the opportunity to undertake a short research project, which allows you to make a valuable contribution to an area in the aviation industry that interests you and can be sponsored by an organisation or individual within the aviation industry.

Our provider for this course is Griffith University which has Australia's most highly recognised aviation teaching program. Griffith's aviation staff have strong industry ties and are world leaders in air travel safety research and focus on the human elements in flight operations to help improve safety. Over the past 20 years teaching in this field, Griffith has built an international reputation for graduates who are industry ready.

Graduate Certificate / Master of Aviation Management

This course is a natural extension of the Bachelor of Aviation Management and takes you to the highest skill level in this specialty field. Students who are eligible may enter directly into the Master programme. However, if you are not eligible for the Masters, you may be eligible for the Graduate Certificate which forms the first half of the Master programme.

Requirements

Academic Requirements - Graduate Certificate in Airport Management

Candidates for admission to this Graduate Certificate program must have:

  • at least three years supervisory experience in the aviation or airport industry
  • OR possess a completed Bachelor degree from an official university in a study area related to business, management or aviation. Suitability is assessed on a case by case basis.

Language Requirements

English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

  • A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0
  • OR a minimum score of 575 on TOEFL
  • OR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19)
  • OR no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only)
  • OR a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
  • OR a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
  • OR an overall score of 58 in the Pearson Test of English (Academic) with no score less than 50.

English test results must be no more than two years old.
